Pre-Funeral Writing and Will Writing
It’s critical to notify the appropriate parties as soon as possible once a death occurs. The first step is to have a physician examine and confirm the cause of death. The physician will certify the death and submit the information to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) online if the cause of death is known to be natural.

Give us a call right now, and we’ll walk you through every step of making arrangements for your loved ones’ last journey. Here are a few basic rules:
- To reserve the funeral home or parlor or to confirm the wake location, give us a call at +65 8133 0959.
- You will need to have the cause of death examined and verified by a physician.
- The physician will attest to the death and provide the data to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) via the internet.
- Mylegacy.life.gov.sg is where the family may register the death.
- The death registration center will keep the CCOD after the death is registered, and the family will receive a Death Certificate.
- Later on, the family will require this death certificate in order to write an obituary in the documents and to arrange for burial or cremation.
- Get a photo (hard copy or soft copy) and a set of clothes ready.
- The arrangements for the funeral service will be thoroughly discussed with you by our funeral counselor.
